Description
The Maserati Ghibli is the first hybrid Maserati. A Mild Hybrid system is used, with a Belt Starter Generator (BSG) and an electric compressor or E-booster.
The hybrid system always works in combination with the 2.0L four-cylinder petrol engine, which is where the term Mild Hybrid comes from. The combination jointly delivers 330 HP and takes you to 100 km/h within 5.6 seconds. Compared to the petrol version, 20% fuel is saved. The system works as follows; The BSG captures energy released when you take your foot off the accelerator. This energy is stored in the 48V battery in the back of the car. The E-Booster uses this stored energy again for longer start and stop periods and extra torque at low speeds, for example.
This is Model Year 23 Ghibli, which means some updates have been made. For the MY23, Maserati has switched to a new infotainment system from TomTom, which is larger (10.1") and even more user-friendly. For example, the Apple Carplay/Android auto systems can be used wirelessly and Maserati uses an internet connection for the latest traffic information. In terms of connectivity, MaseratiConnect has been launched, an app that allows you to always be connected to your vehicle. In terms of design, Maserati gives a nod to the 3200GT of the past, with the updated 'Boomerang tail lights'.
This Ghibli is finished in 'Nero Ribelle' with 'Nerissimo Pack', so black details such as moldings and door handles. Beautiful details such as the sports bumper, black calipers and high-gloss black 20” rims complete the picture.
The interior of the Ghibli is of a level of finish that only Maserati can. This Ghibli has a black leather interior and subtle 'Dark Mirror' accents. The Ghibli has electrically adjustable sports seats, a leather sports steering wheel with gearshift paddles and stainless steel pedals with rubber inserts for extra grip.
