Description
The Morgan Plus Four has recently undergone a facelift. The changes are particularly visible at the front, with the new larger headlights, where the indicators are integrated. And the lighting at the rear has also been adjusted, with only one light unit on both mudguards, also with everything integrated. What is also noticeable is the change to the so-called rear diffuser and the splitter at the front. Both minimalist in design and executed in an inconspicuous gray. A new option that Morgan has included in the program is not visible, but only noticeable when driving, which is the new 'Handling Pack' with which this model is also equipped. This package consists of adjustable Nitron shock absorbers where the wheel suspension is also equipped with an extra stabilizer. These items together ensure that the road handling is even tighter and more stable, which is certainly an improvement for the sporty driver in particular.
Technically there are no further changes, so the drivetrain is still the well-known 258 hp four-cylinder turbo engine that in this case is paired to the eight-speed automatic gearbox with shifting option behind the steering wheel. We also already knew the safety systems such as ABS, ESP and two airbags on the Plus Four. This model has many extra's. For example, the car is equipped with air conditioning, the Comfort Plus seats including heating and a sports exhaust for the sporty experience.
The colour scheme is very beautiful and many will describe it as 'typically British'. Morgan Metallic Green exterior, a dark green roof and a Soft Grain Rich Tan interior supplemented with Tawny wood finish on the centre tunnel and dashboard rail looks fantastic on every Morgan. In this case we have chosen to execute the stitching in the interior in the diamond shape and in green, which subtly refers to the exterior. Another nice detail on the exterior is that the 'wing beading' between the body and the wings has been ordered in green. The spotlights and the shiny wire wheels complete the picture.
