STREETGASM2000

In 2010, I, Maurice, got the idea to go on an international rally with my friends and the then StreetGasm club members. 53 cars appeared at the starting grid, all ready for an insane adventure across Europe. At the time, we did not know that we were the first participants in a road trip that would become one of the most famous in the world years later.

It was a 2,000-kilometre journey through six different countries. An experience that was unheard of in Europe and that would be remembered for a long time. StreetGasm 2000 was born!

StreetGasm 2000, which is now known as SG2K, is an annual phenomenon which celebrated its tenth anniversary in 2022. Each edition takes 100 participants on a new surprising route through the most beautiful cities and areas of Europe. The field of participants consists of teams from all over the world, including Dutch celebrities and international superstars, and is a colourful collection of the most exotic supercars.

About Streetgasm

The genesis of StreetGasm goes all the way back to 2006. I, Maurice Hartsuiker, was an utter car nut from childhood and decided to start a car club. This then unknown club of (mostly Japanese) sports cars soon made a name for itself in the world. This was due to the high quality of cars and the look and feel of the brand. Above all, StreetGasm was known for the close bond the members had among themselves and the strong family feeling that prevailed. Wherever StreetGasm was or arrived, there was a party everywhere!

StreetGasm became the place where people with fast cars were at their place and could share their passion. Over the years, StreetGasm has developed into one of the largest leading supercar communities in Europe.

The fast-growing club now has more than 200 members and has formed an active network of friends, entrepreneurs, but especially car geeks. The StreetGasm Family lives the automotive dream and is always on the move. The permanent team now consists of five employees and during the events there are sometimes up to 40 people at work.

Live your dreams

This has always been Maurice’s motto. Over the years, the Live Your Dreams slogan has become a common thread within StreetGasm. This slogan means that nothing is too crazy and you should chase your dreams.

The deed was done and soon dreams became reality. StreetGasm events knew no boundaries anymore with exclusive tours organised across Europe. Tours were made across the mountain peaks in the Alps to the tip of Sicily, from the snowy Pyrenees to the pristine interior of Eastern Europe and everything in between. In 2021, Arabian Miles even added the first tour of the United Arab Emirates.
