"Straight from the track and ready to race". That summarizes this unique 1963 Morgan Plus4 Racer in one sentence. About 11 years ago this Morgan was fully prepared for historical racing. For years this has been a familiar participant in the HTGT (Historical Touring Cars and GTs) and also very successfull, as can be seen by the many victories and titles that have been achieved. The Morgan raced a lot in Zandvoort over the past years, with a impressive fastest lap time of 2 minutes 5,896 seconds. But also many international circuits were visited such as Spa, Paul Ricard and Brands Hatch. Everything possible was done to prepare and develop the Plus4 as optimal as possible. The Racer has the SuperSport specifications with the Triumph 2.138cc engine, which in 2017 was overhauled by Peter van Giersbergen, with of course the right double Webers. The original and rare Moss gearbox is mounted and there are even two extra ones supplied, one of which is incomplete. In addition there are many extra parts, such as 8 wire wheels, various brake parts, a rear axle, radiator with fan, Triumph cylinder head, ignition with ignition coil, front suspension, shock absorbers and springs, etc. etc. These parts are not sold separately but belong to the total package , allowing the next owner to go to the circuit immediately for a great racing season. The historic FIA passport shows that this Morgan has approval until December 2026 for participation in international races. All in all a unique opportunity for the enthusiast of historic racing.
