With nine characteristic rooms, the museum offers all facilities for organising a business event. Be it a multi-day conference in the impressive Theatre, a dinner in the imposing Great Hall or a party on the cosy Museumplein.
Tailor-made business events
For events from 60 people upwards, we will make a tailor-made proposal. Louwman Museum’s event managers will provide the ideal combination of rooms, necessary technology and catering to make your event a great success. Access to the entire museum collection is included in the price, as is the (unguarded) cloakroom and cleaning.
Standard facilities
For all events, a visit to the museum is included. In addition, the (unguarded) cloakroom, an in-house duty manager, and final cleaning are always included. Several rooms are equipped with audiovisual equipment and furniture as standard. The temperature is constant in all rooms and free Wi-Fi is available. A tailor-made proposal will be made for a combination of rooms.
The Louwman Museum works with a network of permanent, carefully selected partners who know the museum inside out. Select Catering is the in-house caterer of the Louwman Museum and is known for delivering artisanal quality and excellent service in both dishes and service. In addition, we have a permanent team for entertainment, film, AV, photography, decoration, furniture, hospitality and hostess service, which is always ready to contribute to the events.
With an area of 16,000 square metres spread over three floors, the Louwman Museum offers unprecedented possibilities as a business event location in The Hague. The museum building, designed by renowned architect Michael Graves, is surrounded by Lodewijk Baljon’s beautiful garden landscape, which connects seamlessly to the Haagse Bos.
The modern museum building, erected in 2010, is located on a green site with the aim of operating as energy-neutral as possible. A thermal energy storage system exploits soil energy for cooling and heating, keeping the temperature in the museum constant at all times. The energy required is generated by more than 1,000 solar collectors. In addition, LED lighting is used to both save energy and protect the valuable collection.
