This Ferrari F8 Spider is one of those models that embodies everything that makes Ferrari so special. A mid-engine layout, rear-wheel drive, an impressive V8 engine and the chance to get even closer to the technology and the driving experience with the roof down. This particular car is finished in the iconic Rosso Corsa DS 322, combined with a Nero 8500 interior and carefully selected red accents.
Directly behind the cockpit lies the familiar 3.9-litre twin-turbo V8, delivering 720 pk and 770 Nm. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via the lightning-fast 7-speed gearbox. From a standing start, the F8 Spider reaches 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds. Thanks to the electrically retractable hardtop, the car’s character changes in a matter of moments, bringing the V8 experience even more vividly to the fore.
The specification of this particular model also perfectly complements its sporty character. Extensive use has been made of carbon fibre in the interior, including for the Driver Zone with LEDs, the racing paddle shifters, the centre console and the dashboard inlays. The Daytona Racing Seats feature Alcantara inserts and are combined with contrasting red stitching and the Cavallino emblem embroidered in red on the headrests.
As well as performance, comfort and ease of use have also been taken into account. The suspension lifter, for example, makes it easier to negotiate kerbs and steep driveways. Furthermore, the F8 is equipped with the Passenger Display, which allows the front passenger to monitor the car’s performance, amongst other things, as well as Apple CarPlay, a Premium Hi-Fi system, a reversing camera and front and rear parking sensors.
On the exterior, the Rosso Corsa paintwork is complemented by 20-inch Forged Diamond Wheels, black brake calipers and the distinctive Scuderia Ferrari shields on the front wings. The Anti Stone Chipping Film also helps to protect the bodywork from stone chips.
