Description
The McLaren 570S Coupé in Blade Silver colour was presented in 2015 among others at the Shanghai Motor Show, New York Motor Show and Geneva Motor Show as part of McLaren’s new Sport Series. This series was intended to appeal to a wider audience with more accessible pricing, while still offering McLaren performance and technology.
The 570S is equipped with a 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 engine delivering 570 hp, which explains the name. This engine is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and enables the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds, with a top speed of 328 km/h.
The chassis is constructed from McLaren’s Carbon Monocell II, a lightweight and rigid structure that contributes to the excellent handling. The Blade Silver colour emphasises the car's aerodynamic lines, with contrasting carbon fibre accents on the rear wing, side skirts and diffuser.
On the inside, the 570S features a sporty luxury finish, with Nappa leather upholstery and Alcantara headlining. The interior seats two and features a touchscreen infotainment system, parking assist, cruise control and different driving modes (Normal, Sport, Track).
Blade Silver is an exclusive colour that was available for the 570S. This metallic champagne silver hue gives the car a refined look and is combined with a saddle tan leather interior.
This is chassis number 0008 which was built on behalf of the then revamped MSO department by order of the then MSO CEO.
The uniqueness of this car lies not only in the very chic colour combination of the interior and exterior, but especially in the special details that are on this car.
For example, the seats are the famous P1 bucket seats with carbon rear and this is the first ever 570s Coupe delivered with highcloss carbon fibre wheelarches.
The 570S in Blade Silver was presented at the Shanghai Motor Show, New York Motor Show and the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, where the model attracted international attention for its performance and design.
After rounding several shows, this has been the company car of the MSO ( McLaren Special Operations) CEO after which we purchased the car from him in 2021 and brought it to the Netherlands. Carbon Fibre
