It is time for an all-new McLaren Carbon Fibre Lightweight Architecture and high-performance hybrid powertrain. For the McLaren Artura, all the rules have been rewritten and boundaries pushed. The Artura features an all-new twin-turbocharged V6 engine. The engine is 50 kilograms lighter than the previously used V8 and produces the highest hp/litre per kilogram of any V6’s on the market. The ‘V’-angle of 120° ensures optimal weight distribution. Here too you find the philosophy of weight saving; the transmission and even the E-motor have been made as light as possible. Everything for impressive performance.
The Artura immediately comes with a powerful statement: it is the lightest plug-in hybrid supercar today, with the lowest centre of gravity. The all-new McLaren Carbon Fibre Lightweight Architecture (MCLA) takes weight saving to a high level. The new monocoque is lighter than the previous design; just 82 kilograms in total weight. The Artura is shaped to maximise airflow. The new, hidden intake channels in the doors direct air over, under and through the bodywork. The rear spoiler and diffuser generate 50 kilograms of downforce for ultimate stability.
With a supercar, details are as important as the whole. From the world-famous wing doors to the ability to customise the exterior to suit your needs to opting for a full Alcantara interior, the McLaren Artura is great in every detail.
The Artura is all about the driver. The cockpit is so uncluttered and individually shaped that your focus is solely on the road and the emotion. The cabin is built larger and offers significantly more leg, knee and shoulder room. Comfort and quality are paramount in the choice of materials and controls.
Two sharp, bright HD screens provide full colours, razor-sharp resolution and 3D graphics. But besides the new screens, you'll also find McLaren Track Telemetry, voice control, Emergency Call and Over-the-Air software updates in the Artura. And, as you might expect, you can also use Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™.
In addition, the car comes with a 5-year warranty and 3 years of free regular maintenance.
The Artura we are offering here at Louwman Exclusive / McLaren Utrecht is finished in MSO Exterior Paint Papaya Spark, combined MSO Black and the black contrast roof. In the Techlux version, it is fitted with the black leather interior with McLaren Orange belts.
In addition, it is fitted with the Carbon Fibre Louvres in the front wings and the McLaren rear spoiler also in Carbon Fibre.
In addition, the Carbon interior package is present and the car is fitted with the sports exhaust and thermally insulating windscreen.
