Description
The Morgan Plus 4 was introduced as a heavier version of the famous Morgan 4/4, as the Plus name suggests. At the time this Morgan Plus 4 was delivered, the Morgan Motor Company used a 154 hp four-cylinder engine that was coupled to a smooth-shifting five-speed gearbox. Because the Plus 4 is hardly heavier than the 4/4, the performance is excellent. Certainly due to the higher torque, the Plus 4 is the ideal Morgan for beautiful tours through Europe, because the Morgan can also handle mountainous areas perfectly.
This example is finished in the very popular colour 'Morgan Sports Green', also popularly known as British Racing Green. We see this colour in the interior on the dashboard, while the rest of the interior is covered in black leather. The thick leather MotoLita steering wheel is very comfortable to hold and is also more attractive than the standard steering wheel. On the outside we see some subtle accessories that contribute to the classic appearance of this Morgan. The car has grey wire wheels, a mesh behind the grille, running board rubbers on the wings and overrider bumpers at the front and rear. The luggage rack is of course an ideal tool if you want to go on a longer tour.
This Plus 4 has been maintained by us in recent years and will of course be serviced and thoroughly inspected by one of our experienced Morgan mechanics before delivery.
