From day one of Louwman Exclusive’s establishment in Utrecht, we have been a loyal partner as a car transporter. Like the car transports, the storage of usually luxury automobiles was born about six years ago from a piece of Experience & Unburdening for our clients.
The ‘car hotel’ in Utrecht accommodates about 30 cars, the one in Meern (since 2021) about 55. These are often second, third and sometimes sixth cars for which there is no room at home. For example, your very first car or the one grandpa always drove – nice to own without driving it much. But they can also be bolides belonging to international relations who, when in Europe, like to drive their own cars. Or from investors, for whom it is of secondary importance where the car is, as long as it increases in value.
When you want to drive your car, it is always ready to go: clean, tyres and battery at the right pressure, with a full tank if required. We recently opened a third car hotel, in Zaandam, on the A8 motorway, with space for about 70 cars, amid art and with a cosy lounge area among the ‘hotel guests’.
